I discovered photography at a young age, when my grandfather taught me how to use his Nikon EM. For my 15th birthday, he gave me my first camera, a Nikon FE, and I enrolled in a photography course where I learned to shoot and develop my own film.

While studying graphic design, I came across Photoshop for the first time, and something clicked. The idea of shaping images digitally felt exciting and full of possibilities (not to mention a tempting escape from long hours in the darkroom). I quickly realized I was more drawn to editing images than taking them myself, and gradually, I shifted my focus toward post-production.

What began as playful curiosity turned into a craft. Learning Photoshop was a long process, but I loved the challenge. At some point, I asked myself if I could turn this into a career, and more than 12 years later, here I am, still enjoying the thoughtful, detailed work of retouching photographs.

In between layers and masks, I make time for rock climbing!
